Bob Feldman

Bob Feldman photo

Bob Feldman founded Feldman & Partners, a communications management consulting firm, to help chief communications officers maximize the impact and productivity of their organizations.  The firm’s unique niche is to provide the expertise of a traditional management consulting firm with the deep understanding of the corporate communications function.

Feldman & Partners pays particular attention to two areas: strategy and organizational structure.  To help clients with communications strategy, the firm’s offering is driven by a senior counselor group that includes some of the most respected names in the corporate communications field, including Don Cogman, Tom Martin and Greg Spector. For organizational structure, the firm offers expertise in organizational design, as well as the use of new technologies to enhance productivity.  For example, the firm is investing heavily in the application of corporate social networking tools to boost organizational collaboration and productivity on a global basis.

At Feldman & Partners, Bob and his team of senior counselors have worked with clients in a number of industries, including Home Depot, Moody’s, Chevron, Amgen, Hill & Knowlton, CA (formerly Computer Associates), DreamWorks Animation and the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association.

Before starting Feldman & Partners, Bob was with DreamWorks Animation as the company’s first head of corporate communications. The position was created as a result of the animation unit’s spin off and IPO in October 2004 from DreamWorks SKG.  In this post, Bob was responsible for the development and implementation of all DreamWorks Animation communications programs and was a member of the company’s senior management team.

Prior to DreamWorks, Bob lived in New York and was for eight years president and chief executive officer of GCI Group, one of the world's largest public relations firms. Bob’s time with GCI, a unit of WPP’s Grey Global Group, was marked by substantial agency growth and broad industry recognition for the firm including being named Agency of the Year. Bob was previously with Ketchum and Burson-Marsteller, two other large, well respected public relations firms.

Bob has counseled a diverse mix of high profile clients on brand marketing and corporate positioning strategies, including Intel, Sony Ericsson, Visa, Lowe’s, Dell, Genentech, Universal Studios Florida and FedEx.

Bob is an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California teaching a graduate-level course in corporate reputation.  He is a member of the Arthur Page Society and The Public Relations Seminar and serves on the Board of Directors of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
